Project Overview
Ashington Hill provided Project Management and Commercial Management services in support of the principal contractor for the delivery of a landmark commercial office development in Central London.
The project involved the transformation of an existing commercial building into a high quality Category A office environment, with sustainability and embodied carbon reduction at the heart of the development strategy.
A key objective of the project was the retention and adaptation of significant elements of the existing reinforced concrete structure, alongside the reuse of materials and building components wherever possible. This approach significantly reduced embodied carbon when compared to a traditional demolition and rebuild solution and formed part of one of Europe’s most ambitious sustainable commercial redevelopment projects.
Ashington Hill supported the contractor throughout RIBA Stages 4 and 5, providing project management, commercial management and delivery support from technical design through to construction and handover.
