Project Overview
Ashington Hill provided Quantity Surveying and commercial management services on behalf of the principal contractor for the construction of a high specification private residence within the New Forest.
The project utilised Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF) as the primary structural system, delivering a highly energy efficient and sustainable building designed to achieve exceptional thermal performance, airtightness and long term operational efficiency. ICF construction is widely recognised for its energy efficiency, thermal performance and durability, making it increasingly popular for high performance residential developments.
The development required careful management of cost, programme and procurement throughout the construction phase to ensure the successful delivery of a bespoke residential property within a sensitive rural setting.
The Challenge
The project involved the delivery of a bespoke residential property using modern methods of construction within a constrained rural environment.
